Counselors-in-Training demonstrate genuineness in a variety of contexts by working to make sure that they engage in all their relationships with honesty, trustworthiness, fairness, and truthfulness. This means that all of a CIT’s relational interactions should be congruent in both word and deed with their authentic interactions.
